Center, Inc. is leading the charge to transform 3554 N. Teutonia Avenue from a long-vacant structure into a vibrant, energy-efficient community hub.

This isn’t just a building rehab—it’s a bold and intentional investment in environmental justice, neighborhood revitalization, and sustainable infrastructure.

Once complete, the redesigned facility will house legal clinics, public meeting rooms, civic education spaces, and a healthy dine-in café. What sets this project apart is its clean and green design—prioritizing lead-free water lines, non-toxic materials, and all-electric systems to create a safe, healthy environment for all users, especially women, children, and seniors.

The building will feature solar energy installations to reduce emissions and operating costs, along with high-efficiency HVAC systems, enhanced insulation, and daylight-maximizing windows to boost energy performance. Every element of the project reflects JC Legal’s commitment to building climate-resilient, people-centered infrastructure in communities too often left behind.
