Our mission is to preserve the independence, hope and dignity of the low-income and at-risk people we serve. This can only be accomplished by calling attention and objecting to the many obstacles that are in place for communities of color.  Our clients, staff, volunteers and supporters know that we are committed to face this challenge. In doing so, we listen to our community, oppose racism, and promote a fair and just legal system for all. Our mission has brought us to fight against inequities from denial of fair economic opportunities to health disparities and more. We remain committed to justice through high-quality legal research services, education, and community partnerships.
